Satya MicroCapital Limited (Satya) is an MFI providing small loans to women who are excluded from mainstream financial services. Through its products, Satya aims to enhance livelihoods and promote a productive environment to enable income generation.
Satya’s loans are used for a variety of purposes, with a focus on animal husbandry, trade and services. End-clients are typically smallholder farmers and others in rural areas of India. Loans are given using a joint and limited liability group lending model, or on an individual basis.
Satya was founded in 2016 and has been an Oikocredit partner since 2019.
