The non-profit organization Corporación Acción por El Quindío-Actuar Famiempresas (Actuar Quindío) offers financial and non-financial services in the departments of Quindío and Risaralda. The organization was founded in 1989 as a private-sector initiative to meet the financial needs of micro entrepreneurs in the informal sector.
Actuar Quindío has adopted a strong social approach including social projects which are conducted in collaboration with local partners. Actuar Quindío is working on fully incorporating social performance into its strategies with a focus on promoting entrepreneurial education in the region.
Corporación Acción por El Quindío-Actuar Famiempresas has been an Oikocredit partner since 2008.
